The Certificate in Computer Information Systems program is designed for two groups of individuals. The program prepares those without a college degree for entry-level positions in data processing and computer information systems (i.e., positions that do not require an undergraduate degree in CIS), and helps individuals with degrees in areas other than CIS who want to enhance their information systems skills.
Those admitted to this program must either hold a bachelor’s degree or have sufficient coursework for junior standing at The University of Tulsa. Students must fulfill the prerequisites and complete the 18 hours with a minimum grade point average of 2.0.

Core Requirements (18 hours)
Note:
Prerequisites are required for many of the courses required for the Certificate in Computer Information Systems.
