Return to Department of Management and Marketing .

Chair
Larry Wofford, Entrepreneurship

The innovation and entrepreneurship minor is designed for business and non-business students who would like to develop an innovation and entrepreneurship-focused understanding of change. In particular, the minor develops an understanding of what drives change, how change creates opportunities and threats, and how innovation and entrepreneurial thinking can help enterprises anticipate and even lead change. The minor addresses considerations related to startups, for-profit, not-for-profit, and existing enterprises.

This minor is a 15-hour program beginning in a student’s sophomore year and extending through the senior year.

Note:

Some of the courses in the minor are sequenced with earlier courses representing the only prerequisites necessary for later courses. This makes the minor accessible by students pursuing virtually any undergraduate major, whether business or non-business.
