Return to Department of Management and Marketing .
Director
Ralph W. Jackson, Associate Professor of Marketing
While not-for-profit organizations have some similarities to commercial organizations, there are challenges unique to the not-for-profit world. Not only are the human resource management issues different in the not-for-profit world, but marketing, financial management, and legal issues facing managers in that world differ from those that they would face in the commercial world. The purpose of the Certificate in Not-for-profit Administration program is to prepare students to work with not-for-profit organizations either as an employee or in some management capacity as a volunteer.
