Program Learning Objectives
Students who complete the undergraduate program will:
- Acquire the analytical skills to understand the historical, theoretical, and production elements of film, including screenwriting, filmmaking and film scoring, as well as their formal, industrial and social properties.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the collaborative nature of film production from script to final edit and the evolving technological tools used in making film.
- Understand the professional requirements of the film industry and how to implement this knowledge in pursuing a career in film.
