ANTH 4233 Medical Anthropology


(3 hours)
Medical anthropology is a subfield of anthropology that studies the roll of culture in illness and healing.  In this course we will learn how culture and the body interact in human health, and we will study several examples from societies around the world. Prerequisites: ANTH 2033  and ANTH 2033 , or permission of instructor.
