MATH 5423 Probability I


(3 hours)
Introduction to probability theory. Probability spaces. Random variables. Distribution functions. Conditional probability and expectation. Introduction to stochastic processes including Markov chains. Prerequisites: MATH 2073  and STAT 4813 , or permission of the instructor.
