ES 2053 Introduction to Materials Properties


(3 hours)
Forces, moments, stress, strain, deformation, torsion, and twist. Body and surface forces. Deflection in beams, combined stresses, and applications to engineering design. Prerequisites: MATH 2073 , PHYS 2053 .
