CHE 5043 Heat and Mass Transfer


(3 hours)
Basic transport equations as applied to momentum, mass, and heat transfer. Heat and mass transfer coefficients in laminar and turbulent flow and for binary and multi-component systems. Boundary layers, models, analogies, multiphase systems, coupled transport processes. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor.
