ES 7003 Introduction to Engineering Research

(3 hours)
Workshop-style course providing graduate engineering students with introductory skills and best-practices for their success as researchers. Topics include: working effectively as a researcher, with a mentor, and in a research group; reading the scholarly literature; communicating effectively in written and verbal formats; and practicing professional ethics and safety in research.
