ATRG 6053 Legal Issues in Sports Medicine

(3 hours)
Introductory level knowledge of a variety of legal issues affecting the practice of sports medicine including certified athletic trainers, physician, physical therapists or other health care providers. Elements of liability and negligence, scope of practice, and standards of care discussed in depth.
