LAW - 6001 Advanced Research Strategy(1 hour)
This course is designed to strengthen a student’s legal research skills through the practical application of research process techniques to a variety of legal issues of the type likely to be encountered in the practice of law. Students will learn how to develop and practice effective research strategies designed to make successful and efficient use of both print and on-line sources of legal authority. Students will complete a number of exercises and assignments designed to increase and measure the students’ research efficiency and to increase the students’ level of confidence in the results of the research process.
Prerequisite(s): LAW 6253 and LAW 6272
