LAW - 5173 Non-Profit(3 hours)
Course is designed as a 3-hour seminar with an exam option (Law-5173). The purpose of the course is 4-fold: to introduce students to the legal framework of nonprofit law; to offer students the opportunity to perform legal services for nonprofit organizations under the supervision of practicing attorneys; to target additional employment opportunities for students in the burgeoning arena of the Independent Sector; to reinforce (or introduce) concepts addressed in Basic Corp Law as they apply to nonprofit associations. The course is open to 20 students, up to 15 of which may enroll in it as a seminar.
