LAW - 5322 Immigration Law & Procedure(2 hours)
This course will briefly review the history and development of Immigration Law, the categories and procedures by which individuals enter the United States both as immigrants and non-immigrants, and admission procedures as well as exclusion and deportation from the United States. In addition to the statutory and regulatory foundation for immigration law, the course will explore the administrative processes involved and provide practice-oriented materials and information. The course will also include a brief look at the law policy of asylum and naturalization.
