ANTH 5053 Cultural Property: Ethics and Law (3 hours) Provides students pursuing careers in museum work and anthropology a broad background in legal and ethical issues involving the study, use, and management of cultural property. Addresses issues concerning both tangible property (art objects, archaeological material, human remains, sacred artifacts, and other items of cultural patrimony) and intellectual property (music, song, design, and other cultural knowledge).
