LAW 6886 Boesche Legal Clinic: Immigrant Rights(6 hours)
Students in this clinical course represent clients in immigration related matters. Students assume primary responsibility for the representation of their clients. Clinic seminars focus on the law relevant to clients’ claims, professional skills that students will utilize in their cases, and legal, tactical and ethical issues that arise in students’ casework.
This is a one-semester clinic; however, students have the opportunity to continue their work in subsequent semesters through Advanced Clinic Fieldwork for 2-4 hours. Limited to J.D. students who have completed first year with at least a 2.0 GPA; enrollment limited to 8 students.
