FIN 4013 Planning and Control of Capital Expenditures


(3 hours)
Financial management of business with emphasis on maximizing a firm’s market value. Topics include goals of the firm, time value of money, valuation, cost of capital, capital structure, cash flows, risk and return, leasing, mergers, and bankruptcy. International aspects of finance are integrated throughout the course. Prerequisites: FIN 3003  and FIN 3083  with grades of C or higher. Seniors may take FIN 3083  as a corequisite.
