Oxley College of Health and Natural Sciences

Susan M. Pepin, Dean

The Oxley College of Health and Natural Sciences is the home for many established well respected health sciences and natural sciences related undergraduate and graduate programs.  A unique combination of didactic coursework and experiential learning through clinical practice, applied research, and educational experiences in a wide variety of settings prepares graduates to achieve their educational goals.  Our graduates are well prepared to engage in professional opportunities or to continue in advanced scientific or health related academic pursuits. Through intentional opportunities for interdisciplinary interactions, students learn the scientific, clinical, business, legal, and cultural aspects of their chosen disciplines. A variety of additional opportunities are available for students to engage beyond typical class, lab, and clinical experiences. These include collaborating with faculty to conduct advanced research through the Tulsa Undergraduate Research Challenge   program, the opportunity to study abroad in a variety of formats, and engagement in service to the local community.

Vision

To be a collaborative community that educates and empowers students and faculty to address complex health and scientific challenges through innovative interdisciplinary research, rigorous academic programs, and community engagement.
