Highly motivated students may earn a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physics or Engineering Physics in five years. The combined degree program requires the same level of work as the standard Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, but allows up to nine credit hours of 5000-level courses to count towards both the undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
Undergraduate students should apply to the Graduate School for admission to the combined program at the end of the sophomore year or the beginning of the junior year. A minimum of 60 hours of undergraduate course work is required. Because of the rigor and pace of this program, a minimum of a 3.4 undergraduate GPA is required for admission.
Interested students should contact the graduate program advisor for Physics and Engineering Physics.
