Public Health Minor

The Undergraduate Minor in Public Health is a 15-credit hour program that exposes students to the field of public health. The minor program emphasizes core concepts of epidemiology, disease and injury prevention, statistics, and research methods. Students will complete four required courses and one elective over four years. Anyone with an interest in public health is encouraged to complete the minor, which often includes those pursuing clinical careers. However, other students may find the curriculum useful, particularly those studying psychology, sociology, anthropology, media studies, political science, business, information technology, pre-law, or environmental studies.
