Core Curriculum (25-27 hours)

• FYE 1001 First Year Experience

• ENGL 1033 Exposition and Argumentation or
• FS 1963 First Seminar I and
• FS 1900 Writing Studio

• MATH 1083 Contemporary Mathematics

• or higher MATH course or STAT 2013 Introduction to Statistics  

• FS 1973 First Seminar II
• 4973 Senior Project (3 hours)
• Language (12-14 hours)

General Curriculum (25 hours)

• Block I Aesthetic Inquiry and Creative Experience (6 hours)
• Block II Historical and Social Interpretation (12 hours)
• Block III Scientific Investigation (7 hours including one lab)

Notes:

Completion of a foreign language through Intermediate II or ASL IV (or equivalent for showing moderate proficiency) is required. Language requirement may vary depending upon placement.

Some students may be required to take ENGL 1004 Introduction to College Writing  and MATH 1043 Essentials of Algebra .

Students enrolled in the art history specialization are not required to take AS 2001.

Art History Core Courses (6 hours)

• ARTH 2203 Survey of Art History I
• ARTH 2223 Survey of Art History II

Upper Division Art History Electives (21 hours)

Studio Art or Art History Electives (6 hours)

At least 3 hours must be at the 3000 or 4000 level.
