Biochemistry, B.S.B., Degree Requirements

Tulsa Core Curriculum and First Year Experience (7 hours)

Tulsa General Curriculum (18 hours)

Biochemistry Major Requirements

Chemistry (43 hours)

Biology (15 hours)

Physics and Mathematics (16 hours)

Advanced Electives (9 hours)

Approved advanced electives in science, mathematics, computer science, or engineering at the 2000-level or higher chosen in consultation with advisor.

General Electives (18 hours)

Total: 126 hours

Biochemistry, B.S.B., Additional Requirements

The Tulsa Core Curriculum math requirements are met by courses in the major.

The Tulsa General Curriculum requirements for Block III: Scientific Investigation (7 hours) are met by courses in the major.

Students pursuing the Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry are not required to complete coursework in a foreign language.

Chemistry and biochemistry majors must earn a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in the major and overall to graduate.
