Business Administration, Energy Management Track, M.B.A.

The M.B.A. energy management track is a 37-hour program. It can be completed in a two calendar-year period. However, given that the typical student is employed full-time, he/she may opt to stretch the courses over a longer period.

Admission Requirements


Requirements for admission to the Graduate School, including English language proficiency, may be found in the Admission  section of this Bulletin.

Requirements for admission to graduate business programs may be found on The Collins College of Business  page in this Bulletin.

The GMAT may be waived for applicants holding a graduate degree, or who have completed an acceptable alternate exam, i.e. the GRE, the LSAT, or the MCAT.

In addition, applicants to the M.B.A. energy management track must submit a statement of purpose.

Foundation Course Requirements

Students accepted to the MBA-EM program must satisfy the following foundation course requirements:

  • BL 2013 - Legal Environment of Global Business
  • QM 2013 - Statistical Analysis
  • ECON 2013/2023 - Managerial Economics (Macroeconomics & Microeconomics)
  • MATH 1103 - Basic Calculus

Foundation course requirements may be satisfied by having previously completed an undergraduate course with a grade of B or higher, or by completing an approved alternate course.
