• CS 4643 Bioinformatics
• CS 4753 Robotics
• ECE 3113 Signals and Linear Systems
• ECE 4353 Robotics
• STAT 4813 Statistical Methods for Scientists and Engineers
• Coursework at the 3000 level or above in BIOL, CS, CHEM, MATH (excluding MATH 4353  and MATH 4373 ), ME, and PHYS selected with approval of advisor.

Total: 20-21 hours

Notes:

Biological science majors must complete BIOL 2153 , BIOL 2173 , and either BIOL 2151  or BIOL 2171  to fulfill the biology core requirement.

CS 2123  may be counted toward the minor in biomedical engineering or toward the student’s major, but not both.

All students must complete at least six hours of engineering coursework (beyond the required biomedical engineering foundation courses) from the list above. Courses which meet this designation are those offered by the following ABET-accredited programs: chemical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and engineering physics.
