Tulsa Curriculum Requirements (53 hours)

Core Curriculum (28 hours)

General Curriculum (25 hours)

  • Block I Aesthetic Inquiry and Creative Experience (6 hours)
  • Block II Historical and Social Interpretation (12 hours)
  • Block III Scientific Investigation (7 hours including one lab)

Notes:

**AS 2001  is required for sophomores.

***Language requirement may vary depending upon placement.

Some students may be required to take ENGL 1004 Introduction to College Writing  and MATH 1043 Essentials of Algebra .

Art History Specialization Requirements (33 hours)

Art History Core Courses (6 hours)

Upper Division Art History Electives (21 hours)

Early Art History Electives (6 hours)

Two of the following:

Late Art History Electives (6 hours)

Two of the following:

Art History Electives (9 hours)

  • Three art history courses at the 3000 or 4000 level.

Studio Art or Art History Electives (6 hours)

At least 3 hours must be at the 3000 or 4000 level.

Minor (12-15 hours)

General Electives (26 hours)

Total: 124 hours
