For calculating grade point averages, major courses shall be: ES 3003 , ES 3053 , and ES 3073 , and all chemical engineering courses. A chemical engineering student must earn a grade point average of 2.0 or higher in the major and overall in order to receive a degree in chemical engineering. Foundation courses in chemical engineering include MATH 2014 , MATH 2024 , CHEM 1013 , CHEM 1023 , and PHYS 2053 . Refer to the table for specific GPA requirements .
