The College of Law and the Department of History are not accepting applications or matriculating new graduate students into the joint master’s program in history and law beyond the Fall 2019 term.

This curriculum includes 78 credit hours of law courses including all required courses established by TU College of Law, 24 credit hours (thesis option) or 27 credit hours (non-thesis) of graduate courses in history, and 24 credit hours of prerequisite undergraduate history courses.

Students must consult with the JD/MA in history joint-degree committee in selecting elective courses and must take all courses recommended by the committee.

This program eliminates 16 to 19 credit hours of coursework that would be required if the programs in law and history were taken separately.
