Geosciences, JD/MS

The College of Law and the Department of Geosciences are not accepting applications or matriculating new graduate students into the joint master’s program in geosciences and law beyond the Fall 2019 term.

This curriculum includes 78 credit hours of law courses including all required courses established by TU College of Law, 27 credit hours in the geosciences program as approved by the departmental chair, and prerequisite undergraduate courses required by the geosciences faculty.

Students must consult with the JD/MS in Geosciences joint-degree committee in selecting electives and must take all courses recommended by the committee.

This program eliminates up to 19 credit hours of coursework that would be required if the programs in law and geosciences were taken separately.
