Business Administration, M.B.A. (Accelerated Master’s)

The Collins College of Business allows exceptional students to possibly complete a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Business Administration degree in four and a half years. Prospective students interested in the Accelerated MBA track may apply for an Accelerated Graduate Business track as seniors in high school or as freshman at TU.  The requirements to be considered for admission to the accelerated graduate business tracks are: 

  • Minimum ACT score of 28
  • Top 10% of high school class OR have a 3.75 high school GPA

Formal application to the Graduate School is required when the student achieves junior standing at TU upon credit hours. Students in the accelerated MBA track may choose from a variety of undergraduate business majors.

Students in the Accelerated MBA track will have the GMAT requirement waived if he/she has maintained good standing in the Accelerated MBA track (maintained a 3.4 overall GPA with no single semester less than a 3.0 GPA).

If admitted to the accelerated master’s degree program option, six hours of M.B.A. courses (MBA 5033 and MBA 5043) may be used to fulfill upper-level business core requirements.
