The innovation, change and entrepreneurship minor is designed for business and non-business students develop an innovation and entrepreneurship-focused understanding of change in industries and organziations. In particular, the minor develops an understanding of what drives change, how change creates opportunities and threats, and how innovation and entrepreneurial thinking can help enterprises anticipate and even lead change. Students enrolled in this minor will learn how to frame problems, assess opportunities, grow in their confidence to develop and effectively communicate creative solutions, and lead initiatives. These skills can be applied to the development and growth of startups (for-profit and not-for-profit) and existing enterprises.
This minor is a 15-hour program starting as early as a student’s freshman year and extending through the senior year.
