Non-thesis
If students choose the non-thesis option, the program requires 36 credit hours as follows:
M.A. Core Courses (15 hours)
M.A. Elective Courses (21 hours)
At least 15 hours in Educational Studies coursework.
Thesis
The M.A. program with a thesis is a 30 hour program with the following requirements:
M.A. Core Courses (15 hours)
M.A. Elective Courses (12 hours)
At least 6 hours of elective coursework in Educational Studies coursework.
M.A. Thesis (typically 3 hours, but may be taken for 1-5 hours)
