Director
Karen Cravens, Chapman Professor of Accounting

The Certificate in Management Information Systems program is designed for two groups of individuals. The program prepares those without a college degree for entrylevel positions in data processing and management information systems (i.e., positions that do not require an undergraduate degree in MIS), and helps individuals with degrees in areas other than MIS who want to enhance their information systems skills.

Those admitted to this program must either hold a bachelor’s degree or have sufficient coursework for junior standing at The University of Tulsa. Students must fulfill the prerequisites and complete the 18 hours with a minimum grade point average of 2.0.
