Mission

Our emphasis on data driven decisions and depth of understanding helps our graduates make the best decision for their professions, organizations and communities. We teach cutting-edge quantitative methods to equip students with the skills needed to solve complex real-world problems. Our Master of Science in Business Analytics is designed so that students learn the latest programming languages and statistical techniques and are able to explain the intuition of the models. 

Graduate Academic Programs

The graduate faculty of finance, operations management and international business offer courses leading to the Master of Science in Business Analytics (M.S.B.A.)  degree. 

Program Goals

  • Develop the ability to manage big data, generate insights to solve complex business problems.  
  • Learn how to communicate insights from data and statistical models to key decision-makers. 
  • Gain practical knowledge in analytics and apply it in a variety of different industries.

Program Learning Outcomes

Students who complete the master’s program in business analytics will:

  • Develop, analyze, and apply descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, database management, and machine learning techniques for a wide range of business problems and data scenarios.  
  • Communicate the results of analytics projects effectively to audiences with various analytic backgrounds.  
  • Demonstrate proficiency and practical knowledge with analytics, programming, data management, data visualization, machine learning, and quantitative analysis to support decision-making.
