Undergraduate Academic Programs

The faculty of accounting and computer information systems offers courses leading to the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) degree in accounting  and computer information systems .

Program Learning Outcomes

Students completing the undergraduate accounting program will demonstrate the:

  • financial accounting skills necessary to become a successful professional in the field of accounting.
  • accounting information systems and auditing skills necessary to become a successful professional in the field of accounting.
  • tax skills necessary to become a successful professional in the field of accounting.
  • cost accounting skills necessary to become a successful professional in the field of accounting.

Students completing the undergraduate computer information systems program will:

  • Demonstrate the systems development skills necessary to become a successful professional in the field of CIS as evidenced by applying knowledge in programming assignments in CIS 2013, 3023, and 4033.

  • Demonstrate the data modeling, business process modeling, and data analytics skills necessary to become a successful professional in the field of CIS as evidenced by applying knowledge in data modeling and data analytics assignments in CIS 4043 and process modeling exam questions in 4053.

  • Demonstrate computer data networking knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful professional in the file of CIS as evidenced by applying knowledge in network fundamentals and technologies in CIS 3043 assignments and exams.

  • Demonstrate project management skills necessary to become a successful professional in the field of CIS as evidenced by presentations in CIS 4093.
