Program Learning Objectives
Students who complete the undergraduate program will:
- Acquire the analytical skills to understand the historical, theoretical, and production elements of film, including screenwriting, filmmaking, theory/criticism, and film scoring.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the collaborative nature of film production from script to final edit, and the evolving technological tools used in creating cinematic projects, through direct acquisition and practical application of skills.
- Understand the professional requirements of the film industry and related fields, and how to implement this knowledge in pursuing a professional career.
