The Department of Geosciences offers a Master of Science degree in Geosciences and in Geophysics and a Doctor of Philosophy degree. The major areas of emphasis in the graduate program include sedimentary geology and reservoir characterization, geochemistry, geophysics, environmental geoscience, and structural geology. Joint degree programs are also offered in conjunction with the College of Law (see Geosciences, J.D./M.S. ).

Learning Objectives

Master of Science in Geosciences.
