LAW - 5342 Social Security Disability Law(2 hours)
This course is an overview of the law governing administrative adjudication of appeals under Title II and Title XVI of the Social Security Act, with an emphasis on adjudications under these titles and implementing regulations (20 C.F.R. Secs. 404 & 416). The course focuses on the disability determination and hearings process and is designed to familiarize the student with the hearings and appeals process and procedure and governing law and regulation.
