LAW - 5622 Sex Crimes(2 hours)
This course will survey the basic issues of the criminal law of rape and sexual assault. Objectives: learning the basic principles and elements of the substantive criminal law of rape and sexual assault; applying the basic tools and methods to analyze problems; understanding the policy issues and underlying theory; appreciation and recognition of the interrelation of procedural and evidentiary issues with doctrines of substantive law.
