LAW - 5633 Introduction to Alternative Dispute Resolution(3 hours)
Introduction to ADR is a practical skills course on alternative means of preventing and resolving disputes. Each student participates in a number of interviewing, negotiation, mediation and arbitration exercises. Dispute resolution processes of negotiation, mediation, arbitration and hybrids are studied, as well as design and institutionalization of dispute resolution systems.
