LAW - 5070 Externship Course - Judicial(0 hours)
The Judicial Externship Course provides students in judicial externships with the opportunity for contemporaneous reflection and additional substantive knowledge of the judicial process. Students will gain knowledge of the judicial process, the methodology and approaches in the decision-making process used by judges, how to effectively write for a judge, the ethical obligations of judges and their staff, courtroom etiquette, the role and duties of a law clerk, and the professional standards expected by the judiciary.
