This course studies the theory and rules of presenting evidence to a judicial tribunal: the function of the judge and jury, relevancy, character evidence, judicial notice, real and demonstrative evidence, authentication of writings, the best evidence rule, competency impeachment, rehabilitation of witnesses, hearsay and the exceptions to its exclusion, and privileged communications.
