LAW - 5443 Environmental Law(3 hours)
This course is a survey of major common law and statutory responses to environmental threats, but also concentrates on certain statutes. The goal is not to provide all the information necessary to practice environmental law, but rather to provide comprehension of the nature of the problem and the universe of potential responses. The major statutes, as interpreted in the courts, are examined as examples of how various strategies are implemented.
