LAW - 5832-3 Arbitration

An overview of arbitration in the United States including private, state-controlled, and federal arbitration. The course introduces students to the Federal Arbitration Act, as well as various state arbitration acts. The course explores the enforceability of arbitration agreements, arbitral remedies and awards, and appeals from lower courts.
