LAW - 5393 Agency & Partnership(3 hours)
This course will cover a selection of topics relating to conducting business through agents and to the partnership relationship. Subtopics covered will include: forming the agency relationship, distinguishing the agency relationship from other relationships, duties of the principal to the agent, duties of the agent to the principal, contract powers of agents, undisclosed principal vicarious, tort liability of principals, liabilities of the agent to third parties, ratification of unauthorized acts notice, notification and imputed knowledge, termination of the agency relationship, creation of a partnership, operation of a partnership, dissociation and dissolution limited partnerships, including coverage of limited liability partnerships.
