BUS 3001 Professionalism & Industry Readiness (1 hour)
BUS 3001 prepares business students for industry expectations, workplace dynamics, and day-one readiness. Students will learn how to function effectively as early-career professionals under supervisory structures, work productively in cross-functional teams, demonstrate curiosity and initiative, adapt to diverse cultural and organizational contexts, and manage interpersonal and political dynamics at work.
The course integrates guest talks from industry professionals, structured reflections, ethical scenarios, culture and hierarchy awareness, and practical tools for succeeding in internships and full-time roles. Prequisites: BUS 1011 and BUS 2001 with pass grade.
