CS 4103 Fundamentals of Machine Learning
(3 hours)
Introduction to basic machine learning concepts, supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning, linear regression, K-nearest neighbors, Bayesian approach, logistic regression, decision trees, simple neural networks, K-means and EM algorithms. Hands-on programming projects using Python to implement, tune and evaluate machine learning models. Prerequisite CS 3083 Fundamentals of AI Systems, or approval of instructor.
