HON 2123 Three Ancient Cities: Athens, Rome, Jerusalem
(3 hours) Quad Two
This course will explore pivotal insights characteristic of the three major centers of life and culture that produced what later became recognized as the Western intellectual tradition: Athens, Rome, and Jerusalem. Through dramatic, philosophical, literary, and historical works, this class investigates foundational questions and ideas about what human nature and human excellence are. Restricted to students in the Honors Program.
