HON 2143 The Long Middle Ages (3 hours) Quad Two This course explores the rise of Christianity in the ancient world and traces its development through the long middle ages, including the Renaissance and Reformation. Through dramatic, philosophical, theological, literary, and historical works, this class explores the foundational texts and questions about what human nature and human excellence are within the Christian tradition from its origins in the Roman Empire up until the early figures of the Protestant Reformation. Restricted to students in the Honors Program.
