ANTH 4123 Humans as Environmental Engineers: Agriculture to Energy
(3 hours) Quad IV
Students will explore the complex ways in which human culture, economy, and demographics effected ecology and climate change and conceptualize the relations between human beings and their environment, as well as the challenges of global sustainability. Students will be challenged to integrate studies, from a wide range of disciplines, social, historical, and geographical sciences, to provide an overview of the ecological dimension of global, economic processes, with a long-term, historical perspective.
