CS 3353 System Administration

(3 hours)

Computer system administration as a practical discipline. Covers technical, theoretical, and ethical aspects of system administration. Topics include current technology, system administration duties, shell programming, security management, and IT infrastructure. Laboratory assignments include OS installation, configuration, operation, and management. Prerequisite: Grade of C or P in CS 2003 or BIS 3023 .
