(4 hours)Acquisition of basic competence in reading and writing. Study of grammar as aid to reading and writing. Prerequisite: Grade of C or higher in LAT 1004 or its equivalent. Students with previous training but no college credit in Latin must consult the School of Language and Literature for placement advice.
